Denon | PMA-1600NE | Pure HI-FI & Network Streaming Components

$2,099.00

2 x 140 W (4 ohm) output, Advanced Ultra High Current (UHC)-MOS Single Push-Pull Circuit Power Amplifier with Schottky barrier diodes, DAC Master Clock Design, Rear USB-B input
High Resolution Audio playback up to 384 kHz / 32 bit and 11.2 MHz DSD
Digital isolator to eliminate high-frequency computer noise on USB-B or digital input.

Denon is one of the few audio brands that continues to actively develop hi-fi components and envision, refine, and deliver high-fidelity audio technologies. The performance of the PMA-1600NE far exceeds that of Denon’s previous PMA-1500 series. Packed with unbeatable build quality, exclusive Denon technologies and advanced connectivity, the PMA-1600NE is a true masterpiece of audio technology. Thanks to the rear USB input and high-quality built-in D/A converter, the PMA plays hi-res files up to 384 kHz/32-bit and DSD up to 11.2 MHz from a computer with pristine sound quality. To provide the best performance with analog inputs, the PMA features an analog mode that allows you to turn off all sections that are not used, such as the digital input circuitry or the low-noise screen, so that audio playback remains unaffected.

The amplifier employs Advanced UHC (Ultra High Current)-MOS technology that uses a minimal number of high current amplification elements to provide advanced speaker power capability and optimized sound quality. An Advanced UHC-MOS amplifier is a excellent amplifier that offers a power capacity superior to that of bipolar transistors and the advantages of MOSFET transistors in terms of sound quality. The Advanced UHC-MOS circuitry uses a unique push-pull configuration that eliminates drift in the amplifier stage and achieves a perfect balance between the nuances and power of the sound. This circuit masterfully reproduces the full range of frequencies, from the most subtle nuances to the most intense notes.

The PMA-1600NE chassis is made up of six independent blocks that house the phono equalizer and input circuitry, volume control circuitry, USB DAC circuitry, amplifier circuitry, power supply section, and input section. control.

The chassis, made of 1.0-millimeter-thick steel plates, protects the signal circuits from external vibrations and eliminates the negative effects of mutual interference between the circuits. The power section is located in the central part of the PMA-1600NE. With heat sinks on each side, this balanced build is ideally placed to prevent unwanted vibrations from affecting sound quality. In addition, the legs that support the high weight of the power transformer, the heat sinks and the chassis are made of ABS resin, a rigid and solid material.
